Navigate the absurd world of bureaucracy! Collect permits, manage resources, and outmaneuver your rivals in this satirical race to project completion. Nothing can go wrong... right?

Made in 2 days, because I forgot I'd joined this jam! 😂

A Quick Guide

Objective: Get all 4 Permits (Environmental, Building, Zoning, Safety) and complete the "Project Review" space.

Gameplay (Turn Sequence):

  1. Roll & Move: Roll a die, move clockwise.
  2. Space Action: Do what the space says:
  3. Start/Payday: Get 2 Resources.
  4. Permit Office: Optionally buy one Permit you don't have, if you can afford it (pay Resources).
  5. Resource Space: Get 1 Resource.
  6. Nothing Can Go Wrong...: Draw a card, immediate effect (good or bad).
  7. Resource Request: Choose a Resource type, get 1.
  8. Project Review: Win if you have all 4 Permits and 1 of each Resource (pay those Resources).
  9. Action Cards (Optional): Play up to 2 Action cards from your hand. Some cost Resources. They can help you or hurt others.
  10. Traps (Action Cards): Some Actions are traps. Place them on specific space types. The next player landing there triggers it.
  11. End Turn: Pass play to the next player.

Card Types:

  • Resources: Money (Funding), paperwork (Paperwork), and people (Experts). Used to buy Permits.
  • Permits: The 4 things you need to win. Each has a Resource cost.
  • Action Cards: Special actions, played on your turn (max 2).
  • Nothing Can Go Wrong... Cards: Drawn on specific spaces, immediate effects (good or bad).

Winning: First to get all 4 Permits and complete Project Review wins.

Key Concepts:

  • Manage Resources: You need them to buy Permits.
  • Use Action Cards: Help yourself, hinder opponents.
  • "Nothing Can Go Wrong..." is risky: Good or bad effects.
  • Traps: Disrupt opponents, but only affect the next player on that space.
  • Selection: Some cards and spaces will require you to make a selection.
